Norwich City defender Michael Turner has saluted his side's 0-0 draw away at Chelsea as a "good point".

The Canaries put up a stern defensive display at Stamford Bridge, hanging on for a draw and even seeing a solid penalty shout turned down by the referee.

The result all but ends Chelsea's Premier League title chances, while Norwich need Sunderland to drop points while they beat Arsenal next weekend.

"Of course it's a good point", Turner insisted to Sky Sports.

"We did need the three ideally", he added.

"We need Sunderland to lose in midweek and then lose at the weekend and we need to win – so that's it", the defender continued.

"We'll work hard in the week now and prepare for the weekend."

Norwich continue to sit third from bottom, on 33 points, while Chelsea stay third in the Premier League on 79 points.
