Atletico Madrid president Enrique Cerezo has played down speculation that Diego Costa is poised to move to Chelsea in the summer, insisting he has not heard anything from any other club regarding Los Rojiblancos' players.

The Brazilian-born Spain international helped Atletico Madrid put Chelsea out of the Champions League at the semi-final stage recently, but he has been strongly linked with swapping red for blue in the summer.

Costa is thought to be top of Jose Mourinho's wish-list, with Chelsea preparing to meet the striker's release clause at the Vicente Calderon.

But Cerezo has sought to put a lid on such talk, telling El Mundo Deportivo: "It is not the time to talk about transfers.

"There are three very important games to play.

"Chelsea? We know nothing of these teams at the door. I will not destabilise the team. We can talk about that later.

"I can tell you that there is nothing going on. We have not heard anything about any of our players from other clubs.

"They are not heading to another club."
