Everton goalkeeper Tim Howard is pleased with the team’s performance this season and feels that the Toffees have a good future ahead of them.

Everton are fifth in the Premier League table on 66 points and have qualified for the Europa League next season.




"It's been a great season", the American told Everton TV.

The 35-year-old shot-stopper believes that it is great for the club to have qualified for Europe after missing out last season and feels that the Toffees have a good future ahead of them if they can build on this season’s performance in the next campaign.

"We improved on last season and got ourselves back in Europe and we're excited about that because we feel like there's good times ahead.”

Everton are already three points better off than last season, when they finished sixth in the league on 63 points.

Howard has made 36 league appearances for Everton this season and has kept 15 clean sheets.
