Celtic manager Neil Lennon has declared his faith in goalkeeper Lukasz Zaluska being capable of filling in between the sticks if number 1 Fraser Forster is tempted away from the club this summer.

Forster is expected to head to Brazil with the England squad this summer and the custodian has been consistently linked with leaving Celtic for a club in the English Premier League.

Lennon accepts that Forster might go and, while he would look to then bring in another goalkeeper, he has given Zaluska a big vote of confidence.

"We have a list of goalkeepers that we have our eye on but Lukasz can certainly deputise", Lennon was quoted as saying by the BBC.

"If Fraser were to go, would we look to bring another goalkeeper in? Certainly we would, whether it's a number one or a number two", he added.

And Lennon insisted that as he always has concerns about losing players in the summer transfer window, work is under way preparing a list of potential replacements.

"It's always a worry.

"We're working very hard in the background trying to identify players that seem to fit.

"We're nowhere near down the line in terms of signings or talking to players but we're keeping an eye on one or two.

"Ideally you'd always like to get it done before the World Cup because then things can get out of control if they go to the World Cup. We hope to go to Brazil and look at some targets there as well."
