Manchester City boss Manuel Pellegrini has urged his side to come out victorious from their crucial Premier League game against Aston Villa tonight.

The Citizens, who are just a point behind leaders Liverpool in the league table with a game in hand, need just four points from their final two fixtures to win the country’s top domestic tournament for the second time in three years.

And Pellegrini insisted that his side are solely focused on preparing well for their crunch fixture against Aston Villa at the Etihad Stadium.

“We have to win the game against Aston Villa; then at the end of the week, we will see which team has more points”, the manager explained to his club’s official site.

“We will prepare exactly the same as we have done in all the games during the year. The next game is always the most important.”

Manchester City will go two points clear at the top of the Premier League table with a win over the Villains. A draw will also help the Citizens to reclaim top spot due to their superior goal difference to Liverpool.

After tonight’s game at the Etihad Stadium, Pellegrini’s side will welcome West Ham United to the ground for their final game of the season on Sunday.
