Italian outfit Inter Milan have expressed their interest in securing the services of Fulham midfielder Alexander Kacaniklic.

With Felix Magath's team being relegated from the Premier League, clubs from around the world will be keen to sign the Cottagers' best players at a relatively lower price.

According to Italian daily Tuttosport, both clubs are open to the deal, with, with Fulham trying to lower their overall wage bill.

The 22-year-old Swedish midfielder has played 23 league matches for the Cottagers this season, scoring one goal.


Having spent his youth career first at Liverpool and then at Fulham, Kacaniklic went on to make his senior team debut for the Whites in 2012.

He has a made a total of 45 appearances for the club and has scored five goals.

The former Watford player has also played 17 international matches for Sweden and has three goals against his name.
