Marouane Fellaini has welcome the inclusion of Manchester United team-mate Adnan Januzaj in the Belgium World Cup squad.

Januzaj recently declared his intention to play for Belgium at international level and, despite not yet having won a cap for Marc Wilmots' men, has been included in the country's initial 24-man squad for Brazil.

Fellaini, who regularly sees Januzaj at close quarters with Manchester United, has backed the decision and feels it brings something new to the national side.

"Everybody knows Januzaj's qualities", Fellaini told RTBF.

"I know them particularly well because I play with him.

"He will bring something new to the team."

Januzaj is not the only uncapped player included in Wilmots' squad, with Lille striker Divock Origi also handed a call-up.
