Arsenal right-back Bacary Sagna has confirmed that his future will be sorted out before the World Cup, but said that he hasn’t signed for any club yet.

Sagna’s contract with Arsenal is set to expire this summer and the Frenchman has refused to sign a new deal, signalling a departure from the Emirates Stadium.

The 31-year-old has been linked with a number of clubs across Europe and it is widely believed that Manchester City have agreed a deal with the Frenchman.

Talk of a move to Liverpool or a possible return to France with Paris Saint-Germain has also been doing the rounds, but Sagna has confirmed that he hasn’t signed for any club until now.

“My future will be worked out before the World Cup. Again, however, I have not signed with any club", the Frenchman was quoted as saying by Tutto Mercato.

Arsenal on the other hand are eyeing Toulouse’s Ivorian right-back Serge Aurier as a possible replacement for Sagna this summer.

Sagna joined the north London side from Auxerre in 2007 and made 213 league appearances for the club in his seven-season stint with the Gunners.
