Jose Mourinho believes the result, after Chelsea defeated Aston Villa 3-0 at Stamford Bridge, was evidence of his side's dominance over Paul Lambert's men today.
The Blues wasted no time in taking the lead at Stamford Bridge after Oscar knocked in a rebound from Willian's shot in just the seventh minute; Brad Guzan had been unable to hold Willian's effort.
Chelsea had to wait until the hour mark for their second, with Diego Costa heading home to double the hosts' advantage.
The Blues then secured all three points in style when Willian drilled the ball home from close range with ten minutes left.
And Mourinho, whose side sit top of the table with 16 points from six games, is a happy man.

"It was very good from the beginning. Even during the period the game was 1-0, when it could be open, it was always closed because we controlled the game", he was quoted as saying by the BBC.
"We had a big percentage of the ball. When we weren't dangerous we kept the ball.
"My four defenders and two midfield players were very solid.
"The result was a consequence of our dominance", Mourinho added.
