Liverpool defender Mamadou Sakho has apologised to the club's fans after he left Anfield following non-selection against Everton yesterday.
The defender was not included by Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers in the side's first eleven, or on the substitutes' bench, for the Merseyside derby.
And he was pictured heading to his car and leaving the ground before the game kicked off, looking less than happy.
Sakho has now apologised for his behaviour and believes he made a bad decision in choosing not to stay for the game, which ended 1-1.
"I'm aware it was a bad choice from my part", the 24-year-old wrote on his Facebook page.

"I really want to apologise to the club, the supporters and every person who felt offended when I left the stadium this afternoon", he added.
Liverpool boss Rodgers splashed out £18m to sign Sakho from Paris Saint-Germain last summer, where he had slipped out of the starting eleven picture.
The defender struggled to help a Liverpool defence which leaked goals at an alarming rate last term and has again been viewed as wobbly this season.
