Neil Redfearn feels that young starlet Chris Dawson is now firmly knocking on the door of the Leeds United first team.
Dawson was on target with both Leeds' goals in a 2-1 Under-21 win over Bristol City on Monday night and Redfearn was delighted with his contribution.
The attacking midfielder made his senior Leeds debut under Neil Warnock last year, but is still waiting for a second taste. And Redfearn feels he is bolstering his case for inclusion on a regular basis.
"Chris Dawson scored two great goals and he was outstanding in the game", Redfearn told LUTV.
"He's got to keep plugging away, he's got to keep knocking on the door. His performances speak for themselves.

"What's happening now is that there's something at the end of what he does, he's getting a goal or two.
"He creates chances, he's a dangerous little player. And he's got a bright future", Redfearn added.
Dawson, a product of Leeds' youth academy, is a Wales Under-21 international.
