Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has dubbed his side's 1-0 win over Everton "beautiful" after it arrived via a last-minute Willian goal.
Everton set up stubbornly, stopping Chelsea from making a breakthrough and frustrating the hosts, the two teams heading in level at 0-0 at half time.
But Chelsea kept plugging away and there was a late twist to the tail just as Everton appeared to be heading for a valuable point at Stamford Bridge.
Petr Cech produced a superb save from Romelu Lukaku, while Gareth Barry was then sent off for Everton in the 88th minute, with Willian then taking advantage of the ten-man Toffees to score a minute later.
And Everton could find no response, allowing Chelsea to grab all three points.

For Mourinho, Chelsea deserved the victory, although he admits that losing via a last-minute goal must be tough for Everton, a side he rates as quality, to take.
He told BT Sport: "It's beautiful to win in the last minute, and it's so sad to lose. They have to be very disappointed, they gave us a very difficult match. We are very very happy and we think we deserve it. We fought so hard to try and win the game."
Mourinho also feels that his side took risks trying to take all three points from the game, bemoaning an earlier disallowed goal.
"We risked a lot to try to win. It was a refereeing performance that in my opinion was very good. We had a goal which was fantastically well disallowed by the assistant referee. A great decision.
"Everton changed its DNA, they defend really well and made lots of fouls. What we can call intelligent fouls."
