Arsene Wenger admits that Alexis Sanchez is a doubt for Arsenal's FA Cup tie against Middlesbrough this weekend.
Sanchez only returned from a hamstring injury in midweek when the Gunners put Leicester City to the sword at the Emirates Stadium, but was substituted in the 68th minute after taking a kick to the knee.
The Frenchman now believes he could just miss out on locking horns with Boro, telling a press conference this morning: "Alexis Sanchez could be short."
Wenger also confirmed that Aaron Ramsey, who was also injured against Leicester is out, but says he is unsure why the midfielder has succumbed to another muscle injury.
"Aaron Ramsey is out.

"We haven't found any underlying reason. There's certainly a medical or a biomechanical reason."
However, Wenger is also able to report good news on Jack Wilshere, who is now back in full training and raring to get back into action as soon as possible.
"Jack Wilshere is back in normal training.
"He's motivated and focused to come back as quick as possible. He needs competition."
Arsenal will be aiming to progress past Middlesbrough in the FA Cup this weekend as they look to take another step towards defending the trophy they won last season to end their lengthy silverware drought.
