Legendary Manchester United forward Denis Law has insisted that Radamel Falcao has unquestionable pedigree as a striker and backed him to eventually come good at Old Trafford.
Falcao arrived at Manchester United last summer on loan from Monaco and was expected to play a key role in the club’s revival this season along with the likes of Angel di Maria, Wayne Rooney and Robin van Persie.
However, the Colombian has so far failed to live up to his top billing and has scored just four league goals in 16 appearances for the club.
Though Manchester United have the option to make his loan move permanent in the summer, they are still undecided on whether to shell out the rumoured €55m required to sign the Colombian at the end of the season.
However Law, who scored 237 goals for the club, backed the former Atletico Madrid forward to shake off his early season struggles and start banging in the goals soon.

The Scot believes that with Falcao’s reputation as a deadly marksman, it is only a matter of time before the Colombian recaptures his rhythm and justifies his top billing at Old Trafford.
“Radamel Falcao maybe hasn’t scored as many goals as he would have liked so far, there’s no questioning his pedigree and his ability”, Law told United Review.
"He has been absolutely excellent throughout his career and everyone was looking forward to seeing him play when his arrival was announced.
“He’s a goalscorer, a good player who gets involved, and again he’s needed time to settle in, especially coming back from such a bad injury.
"But once he starts scoring regularly then you’ll see an even better player.”
