Paris Saint-Germain defender David Luiz insists their Champions League opponents Chelsea are not just about a few star performers, but a set of very good players.

The French outfit are set to take on the Pensioners in the round of 16 stage of the tournament this evening and given the tough nature of their opponents, the former Chelsea man insists that his team need to take every precaution against Jose Mourinho's men.

The memories of a quarter-final loss to the same opponents last year will still be fresh in Les Parisiens' minds when they take on the team from England.

While the threat from star players Diego Costa, Cesc Fabregas and Eden Hazard will be huge, according to the 27-year-old, he also feels that his team need to be wary of other players as well during the match.

"Chelsea are a big club, [with] many great players", Luiz said at a press conference, via UEFA.

"It's not just about Eden Hazard, Diego Costa and [Cesc] Fabregas are very good players too.

"It's a big club, we need to be ready for everyone."

Luiz also took time to speak about the prospect of facing his old team tonight, stressing that he would love to score a goal against his former club, but won't celebrate in order to show respect towards the London side.

"I'd be happy to score, because I don't have many opportunities to do so. Last year, I scored my first goal for PSG!

"But of course I want to do my best for the team. If I score, I won't celebrate, out of respect for my former team-mates, but I'll be very happy.

"I'm so happy to face my old team, [it’s a] great moment for everyone, not many players have the opportunity to play such great matches.

"We’re are looking forward to tomorrow."
