Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Erik Lamela believes that there is a lot more to come from their young and resurgent side.

Lamela, who joined the north London outfit in the summer of 2013, has become an important player in Mauricio Pochettino’s squad after struggling with injuries in his inaugural season in England. The 22-year-old has scored one goal and assisted a further five in his 22 league appearances so far.

Spurs have enjoyed stellar run of form in the Premier League having lost only twice in their last 11 fixtures. They have defeated Chelsea and Arsenal in the process to lend credence to their quest for a finish among the league’s top four teams this season.

Pochettino’s side have risen to sixth in the league on the back of their good form and Lamela feels that there is a lot still to come from their side as they are still improving.

“I think we are still improving”, Lamela told the club site.
