Ashley Young has stressed that Manchester United are not yet thinking about their FA Cup quarter-final clash against Arsenal next month.

A win over Preston North End on Monday night helped Manchester United to book their place in the last eight of the competition, where they will take on holders Arsenal at Old Trafford.




Though the winger admits that there is real determination within the club to end their barren run in the FA Cup, he insisted that they are not yet thinking about a day out at Wembley at the moment.

In fact, Young stressed that Manchester United are not even thinking about their clash again Arsenal yet next month as the club are involved in an intense fight for a top four finish in the Premier League and have a few crucial encounters to take care of before they welcome the Gunners to Old Trafford in the FA Cup quarter-final.
 


“Of course we want to get back to winning ways and win this competition”, Young told the club’s official site, speaking about the FA Cup.

“We haven’t won it for a few years. But what’s important for us now is to get to the next round.

“We’re not thinking too far ahead.

“There are a lot of games coming up before Arsenal and we need to stay fully focused and concentrate on them.”

Manchester United will take away trips to Swansea and Newcastle United and host Sunderland before they take on Arsene Wenger's Arsenal next month.
