Former Inter defender Paolo Tramezzani has warned his old team that the atmosphere at Celtic Park will give their opponents this evening a real boost.

Roberto Mancini takes his side to Scotland for the first leg of their Europa League round of 32 tie against Scottish champions Celtic ahead of the return fixture in Italy the following week.

The Bhoys' Celtic Park home is completely sold out for the occasion and a red hot atmosphere is expected to greet the Nerazzurri.

And it is something Tramezzani is wary of, feeling a packed Paradise boosts the home side.

"It will not be an easy game", the former defender told Italian outlet Tutto Mercato.

"Celtic are a good team and they will be able to enjoy the support of their fans, which in these games can make the difference."

The former defender, who also counts Tottenham Hotspur amongst his old clubs, feels however that Inter are in good shape after two successive wins in Serie A.

"On a tactical level, Inter over the past two weeks have grown a lot", the 44-year-old explained.

"In addition, both the coach and the club are aiming for this competition and in my opinion concentration will be at a maximum."

Inter, who are well adrift of the top three spots in Serie A, are well aware that the winners of the Europa League qualify for next season's Champions League.
