Inter forward Rodrigo Palacio is confident of getting the job done against Celtic at home after only managing a draw last night in Glasgow.

A late John Guidetti equaliser helped Celtic to earn a 3-3 draw in the first leg of their Europa League round of 32 tie against the Nerazzurri at Celtic Park.

Inter were very close to winning the game, but Guidetti’s intervention means the Scottish champions will head to Italy next Thursday with renewed confidence of knocking the Nerazzurri out.

Despite the late equaliser, Palacio, who scored a brace last night, feels a high scoring draw away from home is a decent result and sets the tie up nicely for the second leg in Italy.

The Argentine striker stressed that Inter are strong in front of their home fans at the San Siro and believes they are good enough to get the job done next week against Celtic.

"I still think it's a decent draw because we have three away goals”, Palacio told the club’s official site.

“There's another 90 minutes to play now, we're at home and we have to get a result to go through.

“I'm optimistic: we'll be playing in front of our fans and if we go out there and play as we can we'll win it."
