Tottenham Hotspur full-back Danny Rose has insisted that his side’s regular habit of coming back from behind and rescuing points this season is no coincidence.

A goal from Rose in the 81st minute and another Harry Kane strike in the 95th minute helped Spurs to rescue a point against West Ham at White Hart Lane yesterday after the visitors went into the last ten minutes of the game with a two-goal lead.

Time and again this season Mauricio Pochettino’s men have found a way to rescue desperate situations and West Ham looked to be on their way to a win before Rose inspired another stirring comeback with his strike in the 81st minute.

The Tottenham full-back stressed that the mentality of the club is to keep going hard at the opposition until the end to get a result and it is no coincidence that they have been consistently rescuing points this season with late drama.

“That’s the mentality at the club now, digging in right until the end”, Rose told Spurs TV.

“Anybody can’t say it's coincidence as we have done it so many times throughout the season.”

Though Rose admits it would be better if they don’t have to stage late comebacks, the Tottenham man is happy to see his team keep their run going.

“We don’t want to be in a position, where we have to wait until the 80th minute or the 94th minute, like today, to try and get a result.

“But it’s a great habit we have got and long it may continue.”
