Leeds United striker Billy Sharp is convinced that the club have four very special talents on their hands in youngsters Charlie Taylor, Sam Byram, Lewis Cook and Alex Mowatt.

The two defenders and two midfielders have been regularly turned to by manager Neil Redfearn over the course of the season, though Taylor only cemented a spot in the new year as the club's left-back when Stephen Warnock was sold.




Sharp has seen the four youngsters at close quarters at Elland Road and has the highest of opinion of their potential and the level they can reach in the game.

 


Indeed, for the striker they are all Premier League quality players and can cut the mustard in England's top flight.

"I think all four of them, Alex, Cooky, Sam and Charlie – all can play in the Premier League", he told LUTV.

"The enthusiasm on the training pitch has been a massive help to the squad because, while I've been down quite a lot of the time [due to not playing], watching them has been a joy.

"They are all exceptional players and can go a long way in the game.

"For me they are four of the best players at the club even though they are very young", Sharp concluded.

Sharp scored at the weekend in Leeds' 3-2 defeat to Watford at Elland Road, in the process bagging the 150th goal of his career.

The striker will hope to receive the vote to play once again this evening when Leeds host Ipswich Town.
