The transfer fee that has been agreed between Real Madrid and FC Porto for the arrival of Danilo at the Santiago Bernabeu this summer is around the €20m mark, according to Madrid-based daily Marca.
It emerged recently that the two clubs have reached an agreement for the Brazilian international and a contract has even been drawn up for the full-back.
Danilo’s future at Porto has been a source of furious speculation over the last few weeks and Real Madrid are being considered as the front-runners to land the 23-year-old at the end of the season. With Barcelona also on his trail, Los Blancos stepped up their interest in him over the last few days.
The Mancunian duo of Manchester United and Manchester City have also been mentioned as clubs interested in the Porto full-back and Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain are also believed to be tracking the Brazilian in Portugal.
However, it seems Real Madrid have won the race for the player and have agreed a €20m fee for Danilo with Porto, far less than the €40m the Portuguese giants were hoping to bag for the player at the end of the season.
