Ahead of Saturday’s clash against Manchester United, Aston Villa manager Tim Sherwood has stated his view that Old Trafford is a wonderful place to play and has urged his charges to go for a win.

Sherwood took charge of Aston Villa following the sacking of Paul Lambert in February this year and is attempting to help the Villans stave off relegation and continue their presence in the Premier League.

Aston Villa head to the historic Old Trafford to play their next fixture against Manchester United this weekend; Louis van Gaal’s men are currently lying fourth in the Premier League and are strong favourites to finish among the top four come the season’s end.

Sherwood, who was at the helm of Tottenham Hotspur for a brief tenure last season, has said that the Villans are facing a massive week ahead of them. And he hopes that his players will respond to the challenge of playing against Manchester United and earn some valuable points.

“It is a massive week”, he was quoted as saying by the BBC.
