Jordan Henderson believes that Liverpool could yet finish in the Premier League's top four despite slipping to a 4-1 defeat away at Arsenal today.
The Gunners took control of the game from the off and quickly started to dominate against Liverpool, even though no breakthrough came.
Arsenal had to wait until the 37th minute to get their first goal, with Hector Bellerin curling home a shot following a good move.
Mesut Ozil then made it 2-0 to Arsenal in the 40th minute when he struck a superb free-kick into the back of the net from 25 yards out.
And then it was 3-0 on the stroke of half-time when Alexis Sanchez unleashed an unstoppable shot which gave Simon Mignolet no chance.

Liverpool managed to pull one back in the 76th minute when Raheem Sterling being fouled in the box allowed Henderson to convert from the penalty spot.
But there was no comeback, with Emre Can being sent off in the 84th minute, while Olivier Giroud then scored Arsenal's fourth in the 90th minute to wrap up a 4-1 win.
Liverpool could be eight points off the top four if Manchester United can win today, but Henderson is not waving the white flag.
"We knew it would be tough to make top four even before we came here", he told BT Sport.
"We have to keep fighting and working and if we win our games left then you never know."
And Henderson accepts that Arsenal started the game well, with Liverpool not good enough for a 15-minute spell which changed the game.
"Arsenal started well but we knew they would.
"They had some good chances, but I thought once we got through that, we started playing better higher up the pitch and we had chances.
"But the last 15 minutes of the half we weren't good enough defending one-on-one and we need to be better.
"We kept fighting second half, played for pride. We felt if we got one goal we could get back in the game, but it wasn't to be."
