Leeds United head coach Neil Redfearn has revealed that he feels he needs to sign four or five players in the summer to put straight into the starting eleven.
Redfearn was unhappy with Leeds' performance yesterday after they went down to a tame 2-1 defeat at home to Cardiff City.
The head coach is desperate for his side's season not to fizzle out and was damning in his verdict of the performance put in by the Whites.
Redfearn is not yet assured of being in charge at Leeds into next season, but he is already thinking about what will be required if he is, with almost 50 per cent of the club's starting eleven needing changing, the former midfielder believes.
"I think we need four or five players for the first eleven, if I'm honest, to compete and to make us better", he told a press conference.

"I know I bang on about Championship experience, but you've seen that [against Cardiff], the fact that we didn't have that Championship experience to tough a game out.
"You're disappointed at 1-1 and games like that you need to be getting a win in.
"If you've got the right kind of Championship experience you get the win in those games", Redfearn added.
Leeds have a quick chance to bounce back from their loss to Cardiff when they entertain Norwich City at Elland Road on Tuesday evening.
The Canaries, who sit second in the Championship and are hunting automatic promotion to the Premier League, have won their last four games.
