Liverpool have confirmed their side to lock horns with Newcastle United in a Premier League fixture at Anfield this evening.
As he looks for his side to resurrect their push to finish in the top four, manager Brendan Rodgers has selected Raheem Sterling to lead the line, while the fit again Jordon Ibe is included in the starting eleven. Philippe Coutinho also starts and will look to continue his good form of late.
The Reds' have Dejan Lovren and Emre Can selected, while Glen Johnson and Alberto Moreno also play. On the bench, Rodgers can turn to Rickie Lambert and Fabio Borini if he needs to bring on further attacking options.
Liverpool go into the game following a 1-0 win away at Blackburn Rovers in the FA Cup, which booked a semi-final spot for the Reds. In the Premier League, Liverpool sit sixth with 54 points from 31 games. Victory tonight would move Liverpool into fifth and four points behind fourth placed Manchester City.
