Celtic defender Jason Denayer has expressed his delight with the way the current season has turned out for him, although he hasn’t revealed his plans for next season.
Denayer arrived at Celtic Park on a season-long loan from reigning English champions Manchester City at the start of the current campaign and has gone on to become a regular presence in Ronny Deila’s starting eleven.
The 19-year-old has made 35 appearances in all competitions thus far and his forward surges have seen him net six goals and assist a further two to the Hoops’ cause.
Celtic have already won the League Cup following their defeat of Dundee United in the final at Hampden Park last month and remain on course to win the domestic treble. Expressing his happiness with the current season, Denayer added that he wishes to continue improving and win more trophies with the Bhoys this season.
“I’m happy with this season as I have improved a lot and I hope I can continue this”, the Belgian told a press conference this afternoon.
