Leeds United sporting director Nicola Salerno is due back at Elland Road tomorrow evening and wants to be brought up to speed with the situation at the club.
Salerno has been back in his native Italy since he signed a letter suspending the club's assistant boss Steve Thompson, something which has sparked a results meltdown, with the Whites having lost all five games since his departure.
The situation has also been made even more complex by six players ruling themselves out of the weekend's defeat at Charlton before and during training on Friday, despite head coach Neil Redfearn thinking the players would be available.
It has been claimed that all six players, five of whom were signed by banned president Massimo Cellino, ruled themselves out when they could have played.
Now Salerno is flying into England and is vowing to look into the situation at the Championship club.

"I'm hoping that someone will explain the situation", Salerno told BBC Radio Leeds.
Salerno's own position at Leeds is also in doubt, with the club's owner Cellino saying the sporting director had resigned, only for Salerno himself to say he had made no decision on his future.
