Manchester United legend Gary Neville has heaped praise on Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy, insisting that the 28-year-old is his Player of the Month for October, edging out Arsenal's Mesut Ozil.
The England striker is at the top of the scoring charts in the Premier League this season, having scored a total of eleven goals in eleven league matches.
His goalscoring form has in fact come as a blessing for Claudio Ranieri's side, who are currently placed third in the league table with 22 points from eleven league matches, trailing second placed Arsenal by three points.
According to Neville, both Arsenal playmaker Ozil and Vardy have been great this month, impressing with their performances for their respective sides.
However, the Leicester City striker simply has to edge it in terms of his relentless performances for his team, taking them to where they are at present.
