Celtic midfielder Nir Bitton is looking for his side to make progress in Europe after putting pen to paper on a new contract running until the summer of 2020 with the Scottish champions.
The Hoops snapped Bitton up from Israeli side FC Ashdod in 2013 and he quickly went about making his presence felt. Bitton has so far made 82 appearances in all competitions for Celtic and cemented a spot in the Israel national team.
The Israeli is now at Celtic for the foreseeable future and after two successive seasons of failing to reach the Champions League group stage, Bitton is hoping to make progress in Europe.
"I want to be part of the Champions League every year", Bitton told a press conference this afternoon, adding: "This is the best stage every player wants to play on."
He outlined his aims going forward, saying: "I want more and more success, trophies, to control the Scottish league, to go further in Europe and the Champions League."

Bitton also insists he had no concerns over extending his stay with the Scottish champions.
"When you play for a club like Celtic, you don't think twice when they offer you a new contract", he explained.
Celtic are next in action this coming Thursday when they welcome Norwegian outfit Molde to Celtic Park for a Europa League game.
The Bhoys badly need a win after they lost 3-1 in Norway to Molde in the reverse fixture.
