Jordan Botaka is grateful to Leeds United's fans for the warm welcome they have extended to him since he landed at Elland Road.
The winger joined the Whites from Dutch Eredivisie side Excelsior, but saw the start to his career with Leeds interrupted by a lack of match fitness and illness.
He did come off the bench in Thursday night's 2-0 defeat against Blackburn Rovers however and has been tipped to play a big role for the Whites over the course of the campaign.
Botaka is still adapting to English football, but he is delighted with the welcome he has already received from Whites fans.
"The fans have shown me a lot of love. I work hard to give the fans what they want, so I’m not satisfied yet because we haven’t won many matches", he said via his club's site.

"They’ve supported me from the first minute I entered the field. I really want to give them something back because it’s not easy for me to adapt and get into the English football, but the support they give me is helping me a lot.
"It makes me feel at home. For me to play at my best I need to feel at home, and the supporters are really giving me that feeling", the DR Congo winger added.
Botaka will hope to be involved this evening when Leeds take on Cardiff City at Elland Road, looking for their first win at the ground for over seven months.
