Liverpool goalkeeper Simon Mignolet has hailed manager Jurgen Klopp’s impact at the club, following his side’s 1-0 win over Rubin Kazan in a Europa League fixture last night.

The Reds, who appointed Klopp after sacking Brendan Rodgers last month, are yet to lose a game under the German’s stewardship.

The win in Russia was Liverpool’s third on the trot, following triumphs over Bournemouth and Chelsea in the League Cup and the Premier League respectively.

And Mignolet, who kept his fifth clean sheet of the season last night, explained that Klopp has managed to infuse confidence into his players.

"He has given the lads a lot of confidence and everyone knows what their job is – he is clear with his message", the Belgian told UEFA’s official site.

"Everyone is organised, everyone knows what they have to do and we don't give anything away."

However, Mignolet urged Liverpool not to rest on their laurels as he feels there is still huge scope for improvement.

"It's nice to win games, especially away from home, but there is no point flying high and thinking about things we can't do", he added.

"We need to keep both feet on the floor, work hard and improve in training."

Liverpool, who will next face Crystal Palace in the Premier League on Sunday, are currently eighth on the standings with 17 points from 11 games.
