Chelsea striker Diego Costa has been accused of assaulting a Stoke City steward during this evening's Premier League match at the Britannia Stadium.
Costa played against Stoke as Chelsea slipped to yet another defeat, going down 1-0 to the Potters after Marko Arnautovic volleyed in a cross in the 53rd minute, something the champions had no answer to.
Now further troubles are on the horizon as, according to the BBC, a Stoke steward has accused Costa of assaulting them.
It has been claimed that Costa made contact with the steward's foot when he was getting the ball to take a throw-in.
A complaint has been lodged with the match officials, however a Chelsea spokesman has dubbed the claims "utter nonsense".
