Bastian Schweinsteiger has urged his Manchester United team-mates to build on their performance against West Brom today.
After two back-to-back draws, Manchester United managed to record a 2-0 win over West Brom at Old Trafford earlier today, through goals from Jesse Lingard and Juan Mata.
While Louis van Gaal’s men again struggled to create a flurry of chances, Lingard’s first goal for the club in the 52nd minute and Mata’s penalty at the death was good enough to seal the maximum points for the home side.
Other than a Saido Berahino chance in the 76th minute, Manchester United gave another defensively solid performance and kept their fifth clean sheet in a row in all competitions.
