Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp admits he noticed fans leaving Anfield when Crystal Palace took the lead over his side earlier today and told his players they must perform in such a way that the fans always believe they can get back into the game.
Klopp saw his men slip behind following poor defending as Yannick Bolasie gave the Eagles the lead in the 20th minute, following poor defending on the part of the Reds.
However, after losing Mamadou Sakho to injury, Liverpool struck back through Philippe Coutinho in the 42nd minute.
Liverpool searched for a winner in the second half and dominated possession, but Palace pulled ahead in the 82nd minute through a Scott Dann header and saw the game out for the win.
Klopp noticed some Liverpool fans leave after Dann's goal and believes it is symptomatic of the fact some supporters lost faith that the Reds could get back into the game, something it is incumbent upon his players to change.
