Tottenham Hotspur forward Heung-Min Son is relishing further games against London opponents after taking in the atmosphere at the north London derby on Sunday.

Son was brought into the action at the Emirates Stadium off the bench in the 75th minute and played his part in helping Spurs withstand a late onslaught from Arsenal once Kieran Gibbs scored in the 77th minute to secure a share of the spoils in a 1-1 draw.

The game was the South Korean's first taste of the north London derby and he was impressed – so much so that he is now counting the days until Spurs next play one of their London rivals.

"I’m excited for the next derbies as well, they are important for us and our fans. We have to be very fit for these games", he told his club's site.

"It was crazy and unbelievable for me to sit on the bench and take in the atmosphere", he continued.

"It was very exciting. The game had a great atmosphere and we were unlucky to only draw 1-1."

Son does not have to wait too long for Spurs to play further London derbies as the side have a match against West Ham United set for 22nd November and then a game against champions Chelsea scheduled for 29th November.

The forward's cameo against Arsenal marked his second game since he returned from a six-match absence.
