England and Manchester City winger Raheem Sterling has explained that he is not worried about his price tag, ahead of his nation’s upcoming friendlies against Spain and France.
The Citizens spent a whooping £44m plus potential add-ons to sign the youngster from their Premier League rivals Liverpool in the summer.
Sterling, who netted his first career hat-trick in his side’s 5-1 rout of Bournemouth last month, has thus far scored six goals in 16 appearances in all competitions for Manchester City.
And the 20-year-old insisted that he is not perturbed with the huge amount Manchester City paid to sign him and that he is aiming to score goals regularly for both his club and country.
“I've realised that I'm doing well, but can be doing better", Sterling told the BBC.

"Since I've been at City I've been working hard and not focusing on the price tag.
"I want to be scoring goals, goals, and more goals. My ultimate goal is to be a regular scorer, not just for Manchester City but for my country.”
Sterling, who is in line to face Spain and France, further added that he intends to earn 100 caps for England.
"I want to do my best for my country and hopefully be up there with some of the players who have played, and try to achieve 100 caps", he added.
Sterling has thus far earned 18 caps for England since making his senior international debut in November 2012.
