Manchester United midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin has expressed his shock and grief following the terrorist attacks on Paris last night.
Schneiderlin was part of the French squad which were playing Germany last night at the Stade de France, as mayhem ensued outside the stadium and in the streets of Paris.
The death toll in one of the deadliest terrorist attacks on mainland Europe in recent years has been increasing by the hour and there are reports in France that three people lost their lives outside the Stade de France when assailants hurled bombs outside the stadium.
Sporting fixtures in and around Paris have been cancelled in the wake of the attacks and even France’s friendly against England at Wembley is under the threat of being called off or postponed.
Schneiderlin has revealed his dismay at the attacks on Paris and has expressed his condolences to the families who lost their loved ones in last night’s gruesome terrorist act.

The midfielder took to Twitter and said: “No words to express my shock and my grief in the aftermath of the attacks.
“My thoughts are with the families of the victims.” #PrayforParis
The Frenchman could return to Manchester United sooner than expected if Tuesday’s friendly at Wembley is scrapped or postponed.
