Manchester United midfielder Juan Mata has revealed he is a firm fan of Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Christian Eriksen, who he feels is underrated.
Mata has locked horns with Eriksen in the Premier League and could not help but be impressed with the Denmark international's silky skills. Indeed, the former Chelsea star enjoys watching the Dane in action.
Taking part in a Q&A session with The Football Republic, Mata was asked which players he feels are the most underrated.
The Spaniard picked out Juventus' Claudio Marchisio, someone he feels always picks the right option, and Spurs' Eriksen, a man with a superb right foot.
Mata said: "I can tell you one or two players that I really like and maybe you don't think [are that good].

"But I like, for example, Marchisio. He is a midfielder at Juventus and I think he does almost everything right in the game.
"I like as well Eriksen, the Tottenham player.
"I think he is very smooth, has great quality on his right foot and I really like to watch him", Mata added.
Form and fitness permitting, Mata and Eriksen will go head to head on 9th April when Manchester United travel to White Hart Lane to take on Spurs.
At present Manchester United sit one place and three points above Spurs in the Premier League table, in fourth on 24 points from 12 games.
