Celtic midfielder Stuart Amrstrong is of the opinion that his side still have chance of progressing in the Europa League.

The Hoops, who are six points clear at the top of the Scottish Premiership table, have however struggled on the European front.

Ronny Deila’s men are yet to register a win in the Europa League and presently find themselves bottom of Group A with just two points from four games.

But Armstrong knows Celtic can still scrape through to the knockout rounds of the competition if they manage to win their final two group fixtures against Ajax and Fenerbahce.

“Domestically we’ve been doing very well but in Europe we’d like to do better”, he told the club’s official site.

“We’ve still got a chance of qualification with two wins, so we remain positive about that.”

Celtic, who have 35 points from 14 games in the league, are up against Kilmarnock in a home game later today.

The Scottish champions will then face Ajax at Celtic Park on Thursday before travelling to Turkey for their final Europa League fixture against Fenerbahce in December.
