Leeds United boss Steve Evans feels that his side were guilty of missing chances after they slipped to a 1-0 defeat to Rotherham United at home.
Rotherham frustrated Leeds from the off, piling bodies behind the ball and employing long-ball tactics which made for a scrappy opening 45 minutes, as neither side could score.
Leeds started the second half brightly, Mirco Antenucci having a good chance which he put just inches wide.
But as the Whites were looking to threaten, Rotherham took the lead. Leeds pushed to find a goal, but Rotherham stopped their attack and then quickly broke.
The ball found Joe Newell in the box, who was unmarked, and he helped the ball into the back of the net in the 54th minute.

Leeds brought on Tom Adeyemi and Jordan Botaka as they searched for an equaliser, but both sides were reduced to ten men in the 74th minute as Gaetano Berardi and Leon Best were sent off.
Lee Erwin was then thrown on, for Lewis Cook, but Leeds could find no way through a determined Rotherham defence.
For Evans, his side were not short on effort, but did not take their chances.
"I think we had plenty of endeavor, but we had a real lack of quality in the final third. We said since we came in and we said after we beat Cardiff at home and Huddersfield away, you have to be brave for Leeds United and get on the ball", he said on LUTV.
"It ended up more of a battle than a football match. They had one chance and they take it. We created four or five and didn't take them – and it's fine lines."
Evans says that he is still hoping to bring players in on loan before the emergency loan window shuts.
"We're trying to get a couple in before Wednesday's deadline.
"I said after we'd been here a week that the group has some fine players, but needs supplementing with a bit of quality."
