Leeds United defender Liam Cooper insists that the confidence will be high for his team going into their FA Cup match after their impressive display against Middlesbrough.
The Whites were able to keep Boro at bay as they ended the match goalless thus stopping the rot after the disappointment of the loss against Nottingham Forest.
The result, according the 24-year-old, served as justice to the hard work that they put in during the entire course of the match.
According to the defender, his side applied themselves well and had the better chances. Cooper is also of the opinion that had luck been on their side they might even have edged the match in the end.
“I thought we applied ourselves properly and were the better team. We had the better chances and we’ve got to move on from this now", Cooper told his club's official website.
