Danny Wilson has admitted that although Rangers will miss the services of Martyn Waghorn, the side must move on from the situation.
The striker, who joined the Gers from Wigan Athletic in the summer, picked up a knee injury while being fouled for a penalty in the early stages of the 2-1 win over Kilmarnock in a Scottish Cup replay at Rugby Park earlier in the week.
Although Waghorn dispatched the resultant spot-kick home, the 26-year-old had to be replaced by Nicky Clark in the seventh minute of the contest.
The forward, who has scored 28 goals in 34 games in the present campaign, will not require surgery to rectify his knee problem, however, the Englishman will still be sidelined for a number of weeks.
But Wilson called on Rangers to move on from Waghorn’s absence, albeit acknowledging that the Scottish champions will miss his goalscoring exploits.

“We’ll miss Waggy but we just need to move on now”, he said at a pre-match press conference this afternoon.
Clark, who replaced Waghorn at Kilmarnock and struck the winner, is now expected to get an extended run in the team.
And Wilson has backed the 24-year-old Scot to deliver in Waghorn’s absence.
“Nicky has done well and scored some important goals for us and will get his chance now”, he added.
Rangers, who are currently atop the Scottish Championship standings, will next face fourth-placed Queen of the South on Sunday.
