Liverpool midfielder Philippe Coutinho believes there has been an improvement in his understanding with Roberto Firmino and their partnership can be beneficial for both Liverpool and Brazil.
Firmino joined the Anfield side in the summer from Bundesliga outfit 1899 Hoffenheim for £29m, and has chipped in with six goals and eight assists in 32 appearances for the Reds.
The Brazilian forward has put in outstanding individual performances in several games this season, which includes the 4-1 win over Manchester City, the pulsating 3-3 draw against Arsenal, and the 5-4 win over Norwich City.
Coutinho has also been in fine form this season, scoring six goals and assisting another five in 26 appearances for Jurgen Klopp’s side.
The 23-year-old Brazilian believes that the understanding between him and Firmino is improving, and insists that he now better understands how his counterpart likes to play, along with his movement of the ball.
