Augsburg midfielder Ja-Cheol Koo has insisted that his side will give their all to oust Liverpool from the Europa League.

The German team, who are scheduled to face Liverpool in the Europa League Round of 32 return leg at Anfield on Thursday, held the Reds to a goalless draw in the first leg at the WWK Arena last week.

Augsburg need any positive result apart from a goalless draw at Anfield to be sure of progressing to the next round of the European competition; a 0-0 affair will take the game into extra-time.

And Koo, who admitted that the game in Merseyside is “huge” for his side, wants Augsburg to put in another solid display against Liverpool such as they produced in Germany.

“It's difficult to say”, Koo told the Bundesliga’s official site, when asked how likely it is for Augsburg to knock Liverpool out of the Europa League.

“We did really well at home, and we'll try to do the same in Liverpool.

“It's a huge game for us, and we'll give everything. We'll have to see whether that is enough.”

Augsburg, who won their first competitive game of the year when they edged out Hannover 1-0 at the weekend, currently find themselves 13th in the Bundesliga table with 24 points.
