Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Michel Vorm is confident that his side's 1-0 FA Cup defeat to Crystal Palace will not derail their good form.

Heading into the tie at White Hart Lane, Spurs had won seven of their last eight games, something which has led to them being spoken about as genuine Premier League title contenders.

But at the weekend it was Alan Pardew's men who came out on top, shutting off one route to a trophy for Mauricio Pochettino's men.

The defeat though will not change the mood at the club or thoughts Spurs are on the right track, Vorm says.

"We could have scored early and to hit the post twice like Dele [Alli] did is unbelievable really but again, it’s one of those games", he told his club's site.

"We have to learn for it.

"We’re still in a good run and of course, losing hurts us all but we have to try to take some positives", the goalkeeper added.

Spurs are currently preparing for a Thursday night clash against Fiorentina in the Europa League. The first leg between the two teams in Italy ended in a 1-1 draw, meaning even a 0-0 draw would send Spurs through to the last 16 of the competition.

Domestically, Spurs return to Premier League action on Sunday at home against Swansea City.
