Rangers forward Michael O'Halloran admits he took notice of Hibernian losing 3-0 to Morton last night.

The shock result at Easter Road means Alan Stubbs' men have failed to close a gap of eight points to Rangers at the top of the Scottish Championship table and now have a mountain to climb to overhaul Mark Warburton's team.

The Gers now have significant breathing space and O'Halloran, while insisting Rangers must focus on themselves, admits he did notice Hibernian's shock defeat.

"I had a little glance, but to be honest we are totally focused on ourselves", he told a press conference, when asked about Hibernian's loss.

O'Halloran, who joined Rangers from St Johnstone in the winter transfer window, explained he is also enjoying the pressure associated with playing at Ibrox.

"This is a massive club with massive expectations, and you are expected to win every game.

"I'm enjoying that pressure though", O'Halloran added.

Rangers are next in action at home against St Mirren on Saturday and will be looking to pile further pressure on Hibernian by clocking up another win.

Hibernian meanwhile face a journey to take on Dumbarton on the same day.
