Former Newcastle United striker Faustino Asprilla has called for Steve McClaren to leave his post as Magpies boss.
McClaren has been backed in the transfer market by Newcastle this season, but has struggled to put together a competitive team on the pitch.
With 26 games having been played in the Premier League, Newcastle sit third from bottom and in the relegation zone, with 24 points.
The Magpies' last game saw them lose 5-1 away at Chelsea, while they are next in action away at Stoke City on 2nd March.
Asprilla has seen enough to feel McClaren is part of the problem at St. James' Park and should be gone from the club.
