Hibernian manager Alan Stubbs feels that Aberdeen will be raring to close the gap on Celtic at the top of the Scottish Premiership to just four points after the Bhoys dropped two points tonight.

Celtic were expected to comfortably turn over Hamilton at New Douglas Park and did take the lead when Leigh Griffiths struck from the penalty spot in the 35th minute.

The Bhoys were reduced to ten men in the 40th minute following Dedryck Boyata's sending off, while Griffiths missed another penalty before Eamonn Brophy levelled the scores in the 73rd minute.

It ended 1-1, something which means Celtic are now seven points ahead of Aberdeen, but Derek McInnes' men can close the gap to four points with a win tomorrow against St Johnstone.

And Stubbs thinks that the Dons will be desperate to do just that as they cannot afford to let their chance go.

He said on BBC Radio Scotland: "I think when you're managers vying for the top of the league you want to capitalise on every bit of advantage that is given your way.

"Derek and his players will be looking at this result and thinking this is an opportunity", Stubbs continued.

"First and foremost they are at home and they will want to win their home game, but the fact that this result has gone in their favour to some extent, they will want to capitalise on that to some extent."
