Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Ryan Mason has revealed that his team are feeling confident about the weekend after booking their place in the last 16 of the Europa League last night.

Mauricio Pochettino’s men secured a clinical 3-0 win over Fiorentina last night, and reserved a berth in the next round of the Europa League with a 4-1 aggregate scoreline in the round of 32 tie.

With European progress guaranteed, Spurs will shift their focus towards Sunday’s crucial Premier League clash against Swansea at White Hart Lane and Mason feels that last night’s convincing win has helped them to grow in confidence ahead of the weekend.

The Tottenham midfielder told Spurs TV: “We are feeling confident.

“Tonight was a massive result; they are a good side and to win 3-0 will only keep us in a good stead for the weekend.
